1. How to Cancel Your Subscription
Onitly believes in full transparency and ease of cancellation. You may cancel your paid subscription at any time, without penalty, through the following methods:
- Account Settings: Navigate to Settings > Subscription > Cancel Plan in your Onitly account. The cancellation is processed instantly with a confirmation screen;
- Email Request: Send a cancellation request to support@onitly.app from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 24 hours.
2. When Cancellation Takes Effect
Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period;
- You will continue to have full access to all paid features until your billing period expires;
- No further charges will be made to your payment method after the current period;
- Your account will automatically transition to the free plan at the end of the billing period.
Example: If your billing cycle renews on the 15th of each month and you cancel on the 3rd, you will retain full access to paid features until the 15th, at which point your account transitions to the free plan.
3. No Prorated Refunds
Onitly does not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods. When you cancel your subscription:
- You will not receive a refund for any unused days remaining in your current billing period;
- You are entitled to full access through the end of the period you have already paid for;
- This policy applies to both monthly and annual subscription plans.
This approach ensures simplicity and fairness: you always get the full value of what you have paid for, and you are never charged for time you did not use.
4. After Cancellation
Once your paid subscription ends and your account transitions to the free plan, you will retain access to the following features:
4.1 Features Retained on Free Plan
- Basic profile visibility;
- Ability to browse service provider profiles;
- Access to your review and rating history;
- Basic messaging functionality;
- Access to your account settings and personal data;
- Ability to receive and respond to service requests (limited).
4.2 Features No Longer Available
- Premium search positioning and enhanced visibility;
- Advanced analytics, insights, and performance reports;
- Priority customer support;
- Extended messaging and communication tools;
- Additional service request capacity beyond free-tier limits;
- Invoice and estimate generation tools;
- Professional ID badge display.
5. Data Retention After Cancellation
After subscription cancellation (while your account remains active on the free plan):
- All your profile data, reviews, ratings, and communication history are fully preserved;
- Your public profile remains visible to other users (unless you deactivate it in Settings);
- Transaction records and financial data are retained as required by applicable law;
- Portfolio images and uploaded documents remain stored and accessible;
- You may reactivate your paid subscription at any time without data loss.

6. How to Delete Your Account Entirely
If you wish to permanently delete your Onitly account and all associated data, you may do so through the following process:
6.1 Initiate Deletion
- Navigate to Settings > Account > Delete Account; or
- Send a deletion request to support@onitly.app
6.2 Waiting Period
- A 30-day waiting period begins upon your deletion request;
- During this period, your account is deactivated but not yet permanently deleted;
- You may cancel the deletion request and reactivate your account at any time during this 30-day window;
- You will receive email reminders at day 7, day 14, and day 25 before permanent deletion.
6.3 Permanent Deletion
- After 30 days, your account and personal data are permanently and irreversibly deleted;
- This includes: profile data, messages, uploaded files, portfolio images, and preferences;
- Certain anonymized data may be retained for legal, tax, or compliance purposes as required by law;
- Reviews you have written may be retained in anonymized form (with your identity removed) to preserve platform integrity;
- This action cannot be undone.
7. Refund Policy
Onitly offers a limited refund under the following conditions:
7.1 First-Time Subscription Refund
- If this is your first paid subscription with Onitly, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of your initial subscription payment;
- This refund is available only once per user and only for the first subscription payment;
- To request a refund, contact support@onitly.app within the 48-hour window;
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.
7.2 No Other Refunds
- Beyond the 48-hour first-subscription window, no refunds are provided;
- Renewal payments are not eligible for refunds;
- Upgrades or downgrades mid-cycle are not eligible for refunds;
- Refunds are not provided for service disputes between clients and providers (Onitly is not a party to such transactions).
7.3 Exceptions
Onitly may, at its sole discretion, issue refunds in exceptional circumstances such as:
- Unauthorized charges due to account compromise (with verified evidence);
- Technical errors resulting in duplicate or erroneous charges;
- Extended platform outages preventing access to paid features (exceeding 72 hours);
- Where required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
8. Reactivation
You may reactivate your paid subscription at any time after cancellation:
- Navigate to Settings > Subscription > Reactivate Plan;
- Choose your preferred plan (monthly or annual);
- All your data, reviews, ratings, and history will be immediately restored to full functionality;
- Your new billing cycle begins on the date of reactivation;
- Previous subscription history has no impact on pricing or feature access.
Note: Reactivation is available as long as your account exists. If you have requested permanent account deletion (Section 6), you must cancel the deletion request before the 30-day period expires to retain the option to reactivate.
